It's about time...

Soooo....it's about time I start one of these.  True to the nature of our family, I'm doing this on a whim, and at the last minute, so I have to make it short and sweet.

We are the Leiper family.  We are (starting with the oldest) Allen, Grace, Thomas, Shane, Samuel, and Liahona (but we call her by her middle name, Celeste).  We also have a Main Coone named Olivia.  What an odd name for a cat, but it's cute!  Allen and I are thinking of giving her a nickname...probably "Popo".  I'll explain that one later.  It's kind of a long story.

Anyway, we are currently living in Okinawa, Japan.  Allen is a Warrant Officer in the United States Marine Corps.  It's been quite an adventure living the military life.  We love the excitement and exploring new things.  We also miss our family and friends back home.  If only we could bring everyone here to live with us!  Or at least visit.  We were actually very blessed to have Allen's family come and visit us this Summer.  It was a blast.  Hopefully there will be many, many more wonderful moments like that to come!

Because I'm so ADD sometimes, I need to cut this post short, as I have prior engagements in which I've promised my children that we'd attend.  I just had to start one of these.  Hopefully we can share wonderful adventures with those who are willing to join in on them with us!
